Last night's Potluck and Discussion, led by Fr Tom,  was the last of three sessions examining the Doctrine of Discovery using the feature-length film 'Doctrine of Discovery: Stolen Lands, Strong Hearts' as the starting point. It was certainly a broadening experience for all there - challenging our assumptions,  highlighting the gaps in our knowledge, and calling each of us to consider our responses to the issues raised. And, that is what learning is about.
